Abstract

1,082,649. Toothbrushes. PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN, N.V. Sept. 1, 1964 [Sept. 4, 1963], No. 35735/64. Heading A4K. A brush for a power driven rotary toothbrush comprises a hub 1 and a ring of elongate flexible bristles 13, which are formed integrally with the hub 1 from a plastics material and project outwardly therefrom in a common plane. The bristles 13 are of flat triangular shape. When assembled in a toothbrush head the brushes have their hubs 1 mounted on parallel shafts (5, 6) rotated in opposite direction by a shaft (10) via gear wheels (7, 8, 12). The shaft (10) passes through a hollow brush handle (11).
