1352794 Battery operated toothbrushes T SUNG 25 July 1972 34710/72 Heading A4K The head 30 of a battery operated toothbrush has a circular movement in which the bristles 32 are always directed towards the same side of the toothbrush handle 10. The head 30 is detachably secured to a base 20 connected to the handle by a crank 50 rigidly connected to an electric motor and rotatably connected to the base 20 which is also connected to the handle through a pin and slot connection 60. A small spot light may be attached to the side 11' of the handle so that it is collimated to shine directly on the bristles 32 when in the brushing position.
