Abstract

1,081,809. Rectifying. SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE A.G. July 28, 1966 [July 28, 1965], No. 34045/66. Heading H2F. A tranductor controlled rectifier circuit has a capacitor C 2 connected across the A.C. terminals of the rectifier bridge between the rectifier bridge and the transductor. This improves the stability of operation if the load presents a high back e.m.f. to the rectifier. The load may be an electrostatic precipitator, shown as a capacitor C 1 , or a battery.
