1079859 Dispensing liquids PORTER LANCASTRIAN Ltd 2 Sept 1964 [11 June 1963] 23141/63 Headings F2N and N2A A beverage dispense system has a pump 9, which may be a metering pump, for propelling beverage from a tank 1 to one or more dispense points 11 via a valve 2, or cleaning fluid, rinse water and/or sterilizing fluid from respective tanks 3, 4, 5 via valves 6, 7, 8, the valves being selectively controllable from one or more points, e.g. by handle 10 or at a dispense point, or by a programme control device. The valves may be operated electromagnetically or via a rack and pinion.
