Abstract

A door-bottom seal and draught excluder comprises a strip like member having tubular resilient spaced parallel barrier portions 1a having a diameter of at least one inch and each being integral with a web portion 2a which is adapted to pass beneath a door with which it is to be used, with the barrier portions one on each side, the tubes being filled with soft granular material such as sand 4 or soft padding material. One end of the tube may be closed and the other closable after filling. The tubes may be formed by scrolling over the two side portions of e.g. a leather cloth sheet on to the web portion or formed e.g. by extrusion of soft plastic material.
