Abstract

1,151,551. Draught &c. excluder strips. EVER-ROLL MFG. CORP. 2 Jan., 1967, No. 144/67. Heading E1J. A draught &c. excluder strip comprises a mounting strip 20 e.g. of hard P.V.C. adapted to be secured parallel to the length of a door jamb or door stop 17, a resilient sealing strip 38 formed integral with the strip 20 and of more resilient P.V.C. and e.g. formed together by extrusion, the strip 38 having a first section 41 extending perpendicularly to the surface 23 of the stop contacting the closed door 16 and a coiled section 40 integral with the section 41 and being coiled inwardly towards the stop 17 so that on closure of the door the coiled section 40 abuts the door 16 and the stop 17 at separate and distinct points and blocks the flow of air through the space between the stop 17 and door 16.
