Abstract
107,916. Nuttall, J. Nov. 16, 1916. Pulping-engines.-In engines for pulping waste paper, wood pulp, and similar materials, for paper-making, the blades A of the rolls have ribs or projections a cast or fixed on them, extending from the root or bottom a<2> to somewhat beyond the edges as shown at a<3>. The ribs are preferably V-shaped in section but may vary in shape, and also in distances apart, so that the successive ribs strike the material in different places.
