Abstract
1,079,128. Indirectlyheated cathodes. COMPAGNIE INDUSTRIELLE FRANCAISE DES TUBES ELECTRONIQUES. Dec. 10, 1965 [Dec. 30, 1964], No. 52490/65. Heading H1D. In an indirectly-heated cathode comprising a folded heating element 12 surrounded by a tubular cathode sleeve 1 coated with emissive material, the lower end of the cathode sleeve is pressed inwards symmetrically from opposite sides to form a vertical partition 3 in the centre of the median plane of the sleeve with apertures 5, 6 at the ends of the partition through which pass the ends of the heater, an intermediate section of the heater being supported by the partition 3.
