Abstract

1,078,824. Screed stands. H. WOLF. Jan. 28, 1965 [Feb. 7, 1964], No. 3726/65. Heading E1G. A screed 2 is supported on tubular telescopic legs 5. 8 having means 11 for locking at predetermined heights and anchoring means 9 at the lower ends of supports 8. The screed may be of common steel sections with nail holes 4 for the attachment of an expansion joint. Holes 3 corresponding to the bores of tubes 5 allow inversion of the screed for low heights. The anchoring means may be spikes 9, a spiked disc or magnets. Additional support may be given by legs attached to a short tube slipped over the tube 5 and an elastic sleeve may be slipped over the tube 5 to prevent the entry of wet concrete.
