Abstract

800302. Ground anchors. WILLIAMS, C. I. Nov 20, 1954, No. 5727/57. Divided out of 800,301 [Group X]. Class 45. [Also in Group XXV]. Anchoring means insertable into concrete prior to setting thereof, comprises a rod-like member formed with longitudinally extending undulating deformations having lateral displacements with respect to the axis of the rod-like member which are greater than the thickness on diameter of the rod forming the anchoring member, but less thar twice this thickness or diameter one end of the anchoring being adapted for detachably con necting supporting and/or coupling members thereto. In Fig. 1 the anchoring member is in the form of a hairpin of which each leg 60 is provided with longitudinally extending undulations. In Fig. 3 the anchoring member is of pigtail form screw-threaded at 62 to which an eye 63 may be fixed. An eye may be integgrally forged on the pigtail anchor.
