Abstract
1,077,304. Mounting automatic circuitbreakers; two-part couplings. ELLENBERGER & POENSGEN G.m.b.H. July 9, 1964 [Nov. 27, 1963], No. 28417/64. Headings H2B and H2E. An automatic circuit-breaker generally similar to that described in Specification 828,754, has its terminals 4-10 designed to plug into a terminal board (12) (Figs. 5-9, not shown) and arranged in a single row so that when a plurality of such breakers are mounted side-by-side on the terminal board alternate breakers can be turned through 180 degrees to produce a staggered arrangement of the push-buttons 18. The insulating control member 24 is provided with a large recess 35 serving as an arc extinguishing chamber for the contacts 13, 14. The terminal board (12) is provided with a plurality of holes (69) each of which receives a socket member 11 retained in place by a step 73 and a resilient projection 71. The lower end of each socket member 11 is formed with a plug portion 74 which can be engaged by a socketed cable connector 75.
