Abstract

1,075,072. Retractive switches. AMF ELECTRICA S.p.a; Aug. 19, 1964 [Aug. 27, 1963], No. 33933/64. Heading H2B. The actuating arms 27 of a microswitch is coupled to a spindle 20 journalled in the switch casing (not shown) and a cam thereon, in the form of a flat 21, acts on a right-angled arm 19 which is secured to a spindle 15 also journalled in the casing (Figs. 4 and 5, not shown). Spindle 15 has a flat 16 which cams a resilient snapaction trifurcated blade 7 to cause the contact 8 thereon to change over from engagement with fixed contact 5 to engagement with fixed contact 11. Tongue 9 of blade 7 is stressed against a projection 10 upstanding from insulating base 3 and renders the switch retractive.
