Abstract

1,074,951. Induction flowmeter. MAWDSLEY'S Ltd. March 13, 1964 [March 14, 1963], No.10068/63. Heading G1N. An electrode 2, Fig. 1, of non-magnetic conductive material such as stainless steel is held in a bore 3 of a block 1 of insulating material such as nylon by a grub screw 7, sealing against fluid in the bore 4 being effected by making the electrode an interference fit in bore 3 or by seating an enlarged head on the shoulder at the inner end of the threaded part 5 by means of an intervening washer. The grub screw also serves to clamp the connecting lead 8 to the electrode.
