Abstract

Elastic filaments and threads are produced from composition comprising a latex of an elastomeric copolymer of 50 to 90% conjugated diene hydrocarbon and 50 to 10% of a mixture of monomers containing polar groups and a sulphur vulcanizing medium, to which has been added 20% of natural rubber latex. The elastomer is preferably a butadiene-acrylo-nitrile-acrylic acid copolymer. The composition may also contain a polymethyl methacrylate latex.
