A tractor power lift mechanism incorporating draft control in which the upper link 18 moves a lever 2 about a pivot 6 against the action of a spring 7 to operate a control mechanism through levers 9, 10 is characterized in that the lever 2 also has holes 3 for the adjustable fitting of a coupling jaw 13 for a trailer. When the trailer is used the lever 2 is locked against movement by a pin 12. In an embodiment in which forces in both the upper and lower links are used for controlling draft, the lower links are pivoted to the lever 2 which has a plurality of points about which it can be pivoted on the tractor.
