The triangular coupling frame 1 of a quick-hitch device for coupling implements to tractors is characterized by a link 7 pivoted on the frame and pivoted to the upper link 5 of the lift mechanism. Pivotal movement of the link 7 is limited by stops 9, 10, and the link is held in its working position by a catch 11. A slot 2 is adapted to receive a bar of a co-operating coupling frame on the implement, this frame being formed of channel members which enclose the frame members 1 during the coupling operation. The link 7 can be pivoted by a threaded spindle or by a hydraulic ram.
