[Also in Division F1] Means for connecting the tubular ends 11a of a heat-exchanger 11 for cooling lubricating oil situated in engine coolant in a chamber 13 on the crank-case 12 of an internal combustion engine comprises two separate seals one, 18, seated at 17 adjacent the connection to the lubricating oil system to prevent leakage of the lubricant into the coolant and the other, an annular seal 20, to prevent leakage of the coolant into the lubricant; clamping means 24 for retaining the first-named seal on its seating 17 and an outlet passage 22 between the seals for the escape of any leakage liquid.
