106,038. Hasting, Lang & Co., and Byrom, H. W. Sept. 2, 1916. Soothing-teats.-An infant's soother comprises an air-tight teat a, a shield c, and a plug e shaped like an ordinary collar stud. An air-tight joint between the teat and plug is ensured by the use of seccotine or other adhesive. A ribbon or cord may be tied round the soother between the shield c and the end flange g of the plug e. Compressed air may be introduced through a perforation in the plug or teat which is afterwards sealed. Teats with fillings of cotton wool or viscous fluid are referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 4317/10, 5781/10, and 14376/10.
