Abstract

1,59,135. Photographic silver halide materials. EASTMAN KODAK CO. Oct. 25, 1963 [Oct. 25, 1962], No.42173/63. Heading G2C. A photo-developable photographic silver halide emulsion contains a stannous salt, a cupric salt and a water soluble chloride, bromide or iodide which may be provided by the stannous or cupric salt per se. Specified copper and tin salts are the acetates, sulphates, nitrates, bromides and chlorides. Specified water-soluble halides are ammonium, calcium, lithium, magnesium, potassium or sodium bromide, chloride and iodide. Silver halides of grain size 0À1 - 10 Á are mentioned which are formed into "internal image" emulsions.
