Abstract

1,057,939. Skates.DAVIES STEEL SPECIALIALITIES Ltd. Oct. 7, 1965 [Oct. 7, 1964], No. 40844/64. Heading A6D. An ice skate which is convertible into a snow skate or roller skate and comprises a blade member 10 of inverted U-shape in cross-section having a sole plate 13 and heel plate 20 attached thereto, the plate 20 being adjustable in slot 24, has a ski-member or spaced wheeled members removably attached thereto. The skimember comprises an elongated hollowed plate having upwardly curved front and rear portions and a pair of spaced attachment members of generally inverted U-shape in cross-section and adapted to be accomodated between the side flanges of the blade 10 and secured to the blade by means of screws. The wheeled members each comprise a pair of wheels rotatably mounted on an axle to which is rigidly mounted in inverted U-shaped attachment member which is accomodated within the blade 10 and secured thereto by screws.
