Abstract

1318039 Skates A WEBSTER 2 Nov 1970 [13 Nov 1969] 55504/69 Heading A6D A roller skate comprises a support for the axles of the wheels integral with the sole of a shoe or boot. The support, in the form of a ridge 3, may be moulded integrally with the sole 1 of a boot from rubber. Two bores 4 are formed at each end of the ridge through which axles 5 are passed, secured to the ridge by washers 6 and nuts 7. Wheels 8 are mounted one on each end of the axle. The support may be formed in two or more separate parts instead of a ridge.
