Abstract
1,056,334. Laminating. DEFIBRATOR A.B. March 19, 1964 [March 19, 1963], No. 11614/64. Heading B5N. In a multilayer press for organic or inorganic fibrous sheets or boards (described in detail in the Specification), in which the sheet blanks are fed into the press on laterally arranged wire sieves unwound simultaneously from rollers by a common traction member, the sieves being rewound after the pressing operation, the rollers are each furnished with a fluid-pressure motor which exerts a torque on the roller in a direction opposite to that of the traction member so as to ensure correct winding of the sieves. The motors are so constructed and arranged to supply the opposing torque both during and after the winding operation and, to a lesser degree, while the sieves are being extended.
