Abstract

1,055,036. Scaffolding. SOCIETE METALLURGIQUE DE VOIRON. Feb. 21, 1964 [Feb. 21, 1963], No. 7452/64. Heading E1S. A frame for supporting scaffold planks is composed of horizontal tubes 2-4 joining two vertical tubes 1 which are cut off obliquely at both ends 5 and the lower ends of which are engaged in tubes 9 also cut off obliquely at both ends and each supported by two inclined legs 11. The tubes 9 are of square cross-section arranged with the diagonal connecting two opposite corners in the plane of the frame. The ends 4a of the tubes 2-4 where they are welded to the tubes 1 are flattened. The frame may be extended by tubes telescoping in the upper ends of the tubes 1 and held by pins in holes.
