Abstract
1,054,341. Inductors. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. Feb. 12, 1965, No. 6169/65. Heading H1T. A ferrite core member 10, 11 has a central bore 18 lined with soft material 9 into which a thread is cut by the screwed slug 17 when it is screwed into place. The slug 17 may have a non-magnetic portion which is threaded or is provided with ribs which are a friction fit in the bore. The non-magnetic portion may be loaded with metallic powder to compensate for the temperature/reluctance characteristic of the core.
