Abstract

Projectors. - In a toy gun or pistol, the spring 3 is held in the retracted position by a trigger device 7, which has a limited movement about its pivot 9 and is provided at the upper front portion with a triangular recess or jaw 13 to receive the bent end 4 of the plungerrod 2<1>. The jaw 13 has a contracted mouth 15, and the back edge 14 projects above the front nose 16. When the wire 4 is drawn back, it depresses the nose 16; and when the wire contacts with the back 14 of the jaw, the nose 16 rises and prevents the return of the wire. Instead of stops 10, 11, the length of the slot 12 in the stock of the gun in which the trigger 7 is inserted may limit the movement of the trigger.
