Headings B8A and B8E. A ship's hold or storage means is provided with fluidizing ducts 9 to convey the material such as cement to a well 10. A pipe 14 supported by a flange 14a from the deck 15 is mounted within the well surrounded by fluidization channels 12 and enclosing a screw conveyer 19. Material enters the pipe 14 through side openings 17 which may be adjustably opened by raising a sleeve 18. Various arrangements of screw and pneumatic conveyers are shown for conveying the material to a discharge point from the upper end of the pipe 14.
