Abstract

A vehicle headlamp comprising a dished reflector 2 closed by a front glass 3, especially a sealed beam headlamp, is mounted in a housing 18 on the vehicle body by means of an annular bezel 9 having an outwardly extending flange 10 for securing it to a flange 19 on the housing, and an inturned edge 9a against which the headlamp is pressed by a plurality of detachable clips on the flange 10 which bear on steps 13 moulded on the rear of a radial enlargement 4 of the lamp. The bezel 9 is secured to the flange 19 by a fixed screw and two adjusting screws 21, 22 (not shown) which engage in slots in the flange 10 and enable the bezel to be adjusted horizontally and vertically.
