Abstract
The novel compound m-bis-(3-methyl-3-butenyl)-benzene of formula <FORM:1049620/C4-C5/1> is prepared by reacting an a ,a 1-dihalo-(preferably-dichloro)-m-xylene with the Grignard reagent formed from a methallyl halide (preferably chloride).
