Abstract

104,947. Parkes, S. R. April 6, 1916. Projectile fuses.- Relates to time-fuses for trench-gun projectiles, of the kind ignited by a spring- actuated striker controlled by an external lever. According to this invention, the lever D is normally retained in the safe position by a ring F surrounding the fuse-body, which ring sets back on discharge of the shell from the gun and releases the lever. A safety pin f<2> or the like is provided.
