Abstract
1,046,674. Reinforcement stools. BAUSTAHLGEWEBE G.m.b.H. Aug. 4, 1964 [July 31, 1963], No. 31073/64. Heading E1V. A reinforcement stool is formed by a pyramidlike framework of rods. In the embodiment of Fig. 1, the base of the pyramid, which is attached to the reinforcement mat, is formed from a single, endless square hoop 1<SP>1</SP> 1<SP>11</SP>, two sides 11 of the hoop being at a higher level than the sides I<SP>11</SP>. The pyramid is completed by two V-shaped legs 2 and 5, having bent-over end portions 3, 6 and 7 at three out of the four ends, for attaching the stool to the reinforcement mat, i.e. bars 9 and 10 in this instance. The base may also be formed of two sets of parallel rods spot-welded together (Fig. 3, not shown). A moulded plastics support 20 may be fixed to the apex of the pyramid, to support it off the formwork, the support having transverse slots 22 extended sideways at their outer extremities so that the support can be slotted on to the apex, and then revolved so as to lock it in position.
