1,236,436. Metal reinforcements. A. V. SCHWARZ. 13 Sept., 1968, No. 43623/68. Heading D1K. [Also in Division E1] A frame for supporting and spacing the longitudinal and transverse rods 16, 18 used for reinforcing concrete comprises longitudinal and transverse spaced frame members 13, 14 suitably slotted where they cross to permit interengagement, there being part circular openings in their top edges in which the rods 16, 18 engage and are supported at their respective hights. The frame mambers may have feet 25 secured thereto to support them or the feet may be constituted by separate slotted members located in any desired position. U- shape members 30 may be provided on the base of the members to locate a second layer of reinforcing rods spaced from those supported on the upper surfaces.
