Abstract
817,015. Metallic fabrics. SURFASTAL Ltd. Nov. 18, 1957 [Nov. 20, 1956], No. 35395/56. Class 45. [Also in Groups X and XXXIII] A reinforcing metallic mesh in a surfacing material particularly on decks, walls and floors of ship's holds or on roads comprises a series of zig-zag strips a each separated at its rounded apices by a series of parallel interposed strips b and connected by a series of parallel rods c at right angles to the strips b passing through registering holes therein and in the strips a. Some of the strips b may be of increased depth so as to raise the mesh above its supporting base and tongues may be raised from any of the strips to facilitate anchorage in the surfacing material.
