Abstract

1,046,205. Reservoir brushes. FLEXY BRUSHES Ltd. July 2, 1965 [July 2, 1964], No. 27286/64. Heading A4K. A detergent dispenser adapted for interposition between a supply hole and a brush 8 having a hollow stock 23 through which water or other liquid may be supplied to the bristles comprises a body portion 1 provided with inlet and outlet fittings 4, 5 for connection to brush and hose and forming a reservoir 10 for liquid detergent, a relatively small bore tube 13 passing centrally through the body part 1 to supply the water to the brush and having a small hole 20 to allow detergent to seep into the water and form a solution which is supplied to the bristles. An air inlet duct 23 causes the solution to be aerated and issue as foam. In a modification the dispenser is in the form of a separate container to which the brush is connected by a hose.
