Abstract
1,046,134. Freight handling stations. KONINKLIJKE NEDERLANDSCHE PAPIERFABRIEK N.V. March 10, 1965 [March 12, 1964], No. 10203/65. Heading B8E. A stack 5 of sheets, located in contact with guides 6, 7 on a stationary table 4 with the leading edge 8 overhanging the table, is transferred on to a trolley 1, running on rails 3, by a clamp device 11 which is mounted on the trolley and which is moved down to clamp the edge 8 of the stack to the trolley. On moving the trolley to the left, the stack is pulled on to the trolley. The clamp device 11 is then raised a stop member 13 is lowered, Fig. 2 (not shown), and the trolley is reversed, whereby the stop member pushes the stack to the left of the trolley as the trolley returns to its initial position to receive a further stack 5<SP>1</SP>. As the clamp device 11 then descends to engage the stack 5<SP>1</SP>, a clamp device 12 descends on to the stack 5 and the stop 13 rises.
