Abstract

1281407 Feeding sheets RICOH KK 30 Sept 1969 [30 Sept 1968] 48100/69 Heading B8R A stack of sheets S is supported in a replaceable cassette comprising side walls (1, 2, Fig. 1, not shown), a base 5 and a movable floor member 4. The cassette is arranged to be supported on a fulcrum 10a of a sheet feeding device and has at least one aperture in the base to permit a member 7 of the device to engage the stack supporting floor member 7. The position of fulcrum 10a is adjusted (by moving rod 10) so that the stack is pushed against retaining members 3 and the top sheet presented to a friction feed roller 11. A light-proof cover-plate 15 may be provided to protect light-sensitive sheets.
