A device for feeding stationary sets or sheets 5 from a stack in a container 2 comprising a feeding device 6, 9, and means 7 for pinning the stack against the feeding device, the means 7 comprising two or more interhinged members, the member furthest from the stack being hinged to a support 1 on which the container is mounted, and the member nearest the stack exerting a uniform pressure due to gravity over the surface of the top set or sheet in the stack.
