Abstract

1,041,143. Electronic counters. MARCONI CO. Ltd. Dec. 2, 1964 [March 8, 1964], No. 11415/64. Heading G4A. The output pulses from the last of a series of frequency dividers A, B, C are used to render operative adjustable frequency dividers H, L counting the pulses from the input source and A respectively so that, when the count reaches numbers predetermined by the positions of switches H7 and L7, signals are sent to the dividers A, B so that either they emit an immediate signal if a lower sub-division of input pulses is required or, if the pulses are to be more highly divided, they are returned to their initial values to restart the count. In this way the units and tens of the factor of division may be adjusted, the hundreds being adjusted by appropriate positioning of the switch C7 in the adjustable divider C.
