Abstract

1,036,745. Nozzles for collapsible containers. MINNESOTA MINING & MANUFACTURING CO. April 4, 1963, No. 13451/63. Heading B8D. A synthetic resin nozzle, formed at its inner end as shown, is secured to the outer surface of an envelope containing a liquid or plastic material by means of adhesive tape 11 or 12, Figs. 1 or 2 (not shown). The nozzle and envelope may be fitted into a pressure gun which, when operated, causes the envelope to be ruptured against cutting edges 18 on the nozzle. The formation of the inner end of the nozzle prevents the envelope, as it is collapsed, from blocking the nozzle end. The nozzle may be of high impact polystyrene.
