Abstract

1,036,136. Guide eyes. PARKLAND MANUFACTURING CO. Ltd. April 18, 1963 [May 5, 1962], No. 17357/62. Heading D1D. A yarn guide eyelet, e.g. for the eye-boards of cap spinning frames, comprises an axially bored skirt portion 1 having a threading-up slot 3 extending along its length an integral, outwardly inclined extension 2 which, incorporates a channel-shaped yarn guiding surface. The eyelet is mounted in the eyeboard 5, see Fig 6, (not shown) so that the extension 2 points towards the back of the machine. The eyelet is preferably made of a ceramic or of metal.
