1,034,773. Freeze drying textiles. TEXTILAUSRUSTUNGS - GESELLSCHAFT SCHROERS & CO. April 5, 1965 [April 3, 1964], No. 14324/65. Heading F4G. A liquid medium containing a treatment substance, e.g. when dyeing a textile with an aqueous blend of colours, or treating textiles with a solution of aqueous scrooping agents, is frozen on the textile product, sublimed in a vacuum and the sublimate is removed, in order to maintain a uniform distribution of the substance over the textile. A cheese of polyamide yarn treated with a solution of aqueous scrooping agents is frozen in a container at 10<SP>-2</SP> Torr and at - 35‹ C. while metal plates heated to 70‹ C. are positioned adjacent thereto.
