Abstract

1,033,430. Seats. TOWER UPHOLSTERY Ltd. May 6, 1965 [Nov. 5, 1964], No. 45087/64. Headings A4H and A4J. A chair or other article of furniture has at least two side components 10, a base component 12 and a back component 11. Each component has a plurality of apertures adjacent its edges such that when the chair is erected, the apertures of the side components 10 are aligned with corresponding apertures 17, 21 in the components 12, 11 respectively. The apertures of the side components 10 have non- rotatable internally screw-threaded means such as T-nuts 16 located in them. A threaded bolt 22 is located in each of the aligned apertures to engage the T-nuts 16. Nuts 23 secure the bolts 22 in position.
