Abstract

1,033,247. Connectors for printed circuit boards. PRESSAC Ltd. March 18, 1965 [April 15, 1964], No. 15556/64. Heading H2E. An electric connector for use with printed circuit boards comprises a flat insulating body 1 which supports contacts 7 which are held in position by the end 8 of the contact engaging in a groove at the end of the body, said contacts at the opposite end being connected to cables 3 which are relieved of longitudinal stress by means of a buckle-type grip 2. The connector is held in contact with the printed-circuit board by means of resilient lugs 10 which engage in specially shaped slots either in the printed-circuit board or at the edge of the board.
