Abstract

1,032,041. Nestable drinking cup. MONO CONTAINERS Ltd. June 8, 1962 [June 16, 1961], No. 21867/61. Heading A4A. [Also in Division B8] A portable drinking cup has a protuberance 16 in its bottom wall which will engage the bottom wall of a similar container when nested to prevent jamming. The side wall 15 of the cup is tapered and the side wall 17 of the protuberance flares upwards and outwards at a small angle so that the protuberances of nested containers rest upon one another. In a modification the base has a shallow annular depression in the centre of which is formed a cylindrical protuberance with side walls parallel to the axis of the cup.
