Abstract

Ru is alloyed with 0.25-25% Re by powder-metallurgical methods Thus the mixed powders may be pressed at 8-20 t.s.i. and sintered at 1450% for 8 hours in vacuo. The compact may then be rolled at sintering temperature and vacuum annealed at 1450% for 8 hours. The resultant alloy may be used for sparking plug electrodes.
