Abstract
A sintered alloy has the following composition:-Au 5-35% Pd 5-35% Ru (at least 60%) the balance The alloy may contain Pt, Rh, Ir, Mo and W in a total amount not exceeding 10% of the total of Ru, Au and Pd. The alloy may be made by liquid phase sintering at 1400-1600 DEG C. or by infiltration of the Ru with Pd and Au.
