1,031,756. Making bag tubes. WALTER DURBECK PAPIERSACKFABRIKEN G.m.b.H. Dec. 13, 1962 [Dec. 13, 1961], No. 47169/62. Heading B8K. [Also in Divisions B5 and F2] A packaging container, when filled, comprises at least one side bearing printed matter, and is formed of flexible sheet material, e.g. thermoplastic material, which is fed in two layers formed by a tube that is folded flat. The direction of feeding is lengthwise of initial fold lines a, d at the edges of the tube and the disposition of the layers is such that the printing for the said one side is located at a marginal portion of one of the layers adjacent one of the initial fold lines. The layers are displaced relatively to one another transversely of the direction of feeding, and new fold lines c, b and e, f are formed in the sheet material so that one of the fold lines b or e extends substantially along the centre line of the printed marginal portion.
