Abstract

A spray nozzle forming a fan shaped spray pattern comprises two quarter-circular resilient tubes 13 (Figs. not shown) of elliptical cross section supplied with liquid fuel by a pipe 11 and arranged with their open discharge ends facing one another. Increased fuel pressure tends to straighten the tubes. The discharge ends of the tubes are backed by a deflector 15 fixed to the supply pipe 11 and the tubes are surrounded by a shroud 16 having air holes 17.
