A fluidized tank 1, Fig. 2, for distributing granular &c. material through multiple outlets 2 has multiple porous pipes 4 uniformly spaced over the base and connected to a single distributer conduit 3b. The pipes may be of sintered bronze or may be mechanically pierced or fitted with multiple nozzles, and are embedded as at 10 in pitch, cement or plastic.
