Abstract

992,076. Pneumatic conveyers. DEUTSCHE EDELSTAHLWERKE A.G. Jan. 16, 1964 [Jan. 16, 1963; Oct. 2, 1963; Oct. 4, 1963], No. 2053/64. Heading B8A. A porous floor for a pneumatic convoying trough, container &c. comprises at least one porous plate 1, Fig. 5, having integral porous ribs 2. In the example of Fig. 5 a second porous plate 11 is attached above the ribs 2 by adhesives to form a smooth floor but in other examples the plate 1 may be inverted and its ribs 2 attached to the container wall 6. The plate may be held in position by adhesive, bolts 13, 14 or by magnetic strips 15 embedded in the material. The plates may be of sintered synthetic plastics material.
