Abstract

1,030,114. Vehicle bodies. YORK TRAILER CO. Ltd. May 31, 1963 [May 31, 1962], No. 21074/62. Heading B7B. A cant-rail comprises an extruded section having grooves to accommodate roof beams 12 and side frame members 4 and is provided with an overhanging flange 20 to which the roof sheets 18 can be secured. Grooves 8 at the bottom of one groove accommodate cladding panels. The flange 20 may be bent over the edges of the roof panels. The hollow 24 may be circular in section and be used to carry cables and have access openings thereto.
